Welcome to the CRL!
The Centre de Ressources en Langues (CRL) is a space for you to work on languages.
(live:1s) [(set: $helloTimer to $helloTimer + 1)
(if: $helloTimer > 3 ) [[[next|CRLdescription]]]
(if: $helloTimer is 4)[(stop:)]]Today, you will solve a series of puzzles using information hidden in the CRL.
A CRL mediateur will accompany you to answer questions, but they won't give you any hints to solve the puzzles!
Your team will be timed. The fastest team will get a prize at the end of the semester.
(set: $helloTimer to 0)(set: $helloTimer to 0)(live:1s) [(set: $helloTimer to $helloTimer + 1)(if: $helloTimer > 5 ) [ Are you ready to begin?
[[yes, let's do it!|timestamp]]
[[no, I have a question|askforhelp]]]
(if: $helloTimer is 6)[(stop:)]]
When you arrive in the CRL, the first person you meet will be a *mediateur* at the *accueil* desk.
There is always a *mediateur* here to help you in the CRL. The mediateur can help you:
- register for the CRL
- sign up for a language workshop
- make an appointment with the language advisor
- find materials
- learn about CRL activities
- and many, many other things
(set: $helloTimer to 0)(live:1s) [(set: $helloTimer to $helloTimer + 1)
(if: $helloTimer > 7 ) [[[Wow, the mediateurs sound great! I can't wait to meet them!|mediateurpuzzle]]]
(if: $helloTimer is 8)[(stop:)]]
A "*tandem*" is a language partner. Two students that are interested in *exchanging* their language skills meet to practice with each other.
You may work with a partner to practice his or her *native language*.
You may work with a partner to practice a language that is foreign to both of you.
Students looking for tandem partners can fill out a *tandem card* and post their contact information on the *tandem board*. You can also look through the tandem cards to find someone to contact.
(set: $helloTimer to 0)(live:1s) [(set: $helloTimer to $helloTimer + 1)
(if: $helloTimer > 6) [[[Cool! I want to see who I can meet on the tandem board!|tandempuzzle]]]
(if: $helloTimer is 7)[(stop:)]]
Look on the tandem board. Find the tandem card of a student who:
- speaks German and Polish
- is looking to practice French
- project is ERASMUS and DELF B1
